Vervet Monkey - Five Sisters Zoo

Individuals have a  yellow to greenish coat with brown tones and white fur on their cheeks, eyebrows and chest. Their dark skin can be seen on their faces, hands and feet.

Adapted to Survive

  • This species is very adaptable! Individuals are found in habitats from rainforests to swamps and urban areas.
  • Individuals are opportunistic omnivores! They will eat anything available and change their diet according to what is available during the season.
