The Zoo is located about half a mile from the A71.


 

BY TRAIN

The nearest train station to the Zoo is West Calder which links Glasgow Central and Waverley Station and operates a reliable and frequent service during peak times.

If you are planning to travel by train, we would be happy to pick up you up and return you to West Calder Train Station, at no charge to yourselves, if the mini bus is available. Please call us on the morning you wish to visit and before travelling, to advise us of your arrival time and check availability of the minibus.

BY BUS

First Bus is the main bus company with routes along the A71 linking Polbeth and West Calder to Livingston Town Centre. Visitors travelling by bus from Edinburgh would have to change at Livingston bus station.

Please contact First Bus on 08708 727271 to check bus times. However, if the Zoo minibus is available, we would be happy to pick you up from Livingston Bus station, at no charge and return you to Livingston Bus Station at the end of your visit.
