Volunteering

There are three full time Zoo Keepers who oversee all aspects of the care of the animals in the Zoo. They in turn rely on the help of a bank of dedicated volunteers to help around the Zoo with feeding, cleaning and general maintenance.
 
Anyone wishing to volunteer must be at least 16 years of age for insurance purposes and have their own means of getting to and from the Zoo.
