Come see our youngest new additions: our baby Giant Rabbits

When we say giant, we really mean it. This breed of rabbit grows to weigh at least 10 lbs. These rabbits are sometimes entered into rabbit shows, kinda like the dog shows we are all familiar with.

A typical Giant rabbit in these competitions weighs in at around 13 1/2 pounds. Winners usually weigh 15 pounds!

Come see our new babies before they are too big to hold.

Ever seen a Kinkajou?

The Kinkajou is a nocturnal rainforest mammal related to the raccoon and the panda that lives in Central and South America.

Kinkajous do not like to be awake during the day, and dislike noise or sudden movements. If they are agitated too much, they may emit a scream and attack, usually clawing their victim and biting deeply.

Their bites are particularly dangerous as their saliva contains a very dangerous bacteria. Bites from a Kinkajou must be treated by a Doctor very quickly. Strangely, these animals are sometime kept as pets. Paris Hilton has a pet Kinkajou named 'Babyluv'.

Come see our Kinkajous in the nocturnal area near the reptile house.
